		<description>Saturday, September 11th, 2010- Music under the bridge from DAN DUBUQUE (10am-1pm).  Music on the east end from KIRA MEANS (11am-1pm).--We accept Credit/ Debit/ EBT/ Cash.  Most produce vendors also accept WIC Program vouchers and Senior Nutrition Program vouchers.  We now also accept Missoula Downtown Association gift cards.The 2010 market season is through October 23rd. The Clark Fork River Market is located under the Higgins Bridge, in the Riverside Parking Lot, just east of Caras Park and the Wilma Building in downtown Missoula. Our hours are Saturdays, 8am until 1pm from the first Saturday in May through the fourth Saturday in October --  rain or shine! There is ample FREE parking adjacent to the market at Caras Park and on the upper and lower levels of the Bank Street Parking Structure (at the Millennium Building).The Clark Fork River Market provides a lively and scenic setting for buying locally-produced fruits and vegetables, meats, poultry, fish, organic dairy products, plants, flowers, fresh handcrafted pastas, baked goods, honey, salsa, jams and jellies, wool goods and other wares from area farmers, ranchers and chefs. Breakfast, lunch, espresso, coffee, tea and cold drinks are also available, along with plenty of seating for customers who want to relax and enjoy the festive market atmosphere.  Live music adds to the festivities from 10am to 12ish.The week of September 11th, 2010 customers can expect these products and more from Western Montana farmers, ranchers, bakers and chefs during the market season:  Produce: TOMATOES, melons, winter squash varieties, corn, egg plant, hot peppers, sweet peppers, corn, cherry tomatoes, green beans, wax beans, arugula, green onions, garlic, fennel, beets, bok choy, carrots, radishes, spinach, crispy lettuce and salad mixes, bay leaf, thyme, sage, basil, dill, daikon radishes, kale, chard, cabbage, broccoli, summer squash, zucchini, onions, CHERRIES, HUCKLEBERRIES, and gathered mushrooms(including MOREL mushrooms).Cut Flowers:  Locally grown, beautifully arranged cut flowers including cut lillies, iris, lavender, and a wide selection of dried flower arrangements. More coming soon!!  Plants and Seeds: A variety of vegetable starts, fruit plants, fruit tree saplings, tree saplings, bedding plants that include an array of flowers and ornamentals, native MT seeds, and a variety of native perenial starts. Our farmers love to share their advice to help make your gardening experience a fun and successful one. Animal Proteins: frozen and fresh beef, bison, pork, chicken, emu, and seafood from Alaska. We also have jerky, bratwurst, sausages, hamburgers, and smoked meats.Wool goods: Wool vendors from Western MT will offer their wool yarns, pillows, scarves, hand loomed rugs, felted wool hats and more.  Baked Items:  Pies, cakes, quiches, amazingly decorated cookies, cupcakes, croissants, muffins, breads, maca balls, granola, and MORE will be available from more than 11 local bakers. Vegan options available.  Gluten free products also available from several vendors. Dairy: organic artisan cheese (including feta, swiss, cheddar, brie, curds) and butter. Other Products: Spreads and dips, coffee, espresso, fresh roasted coffee beans, salsa, locally made cooking sauces and marinades, spices, hot prepared foods such as, egg sandwiches, waffles, tamales, asian cuisine, hamburgers, bratwurst, hot dogs, lemonade, BBQ, Argentinian empanadas, pitas, ice cream, and donuts.Also, dog biscuits, dog muffins, and dog treats.__________________No cash?
